International Day of the Girl 2023

Lady Arcaders is teamed up with CARE to raise funds during International Day of the Girl! This event focused on casual play of everyone's favorite cozy, chill, or nostalgic games. It ran from 12 noon until 1am EDT on Wednesday, October 11th 2023 and raised ~$180 for charity.
CARE is a global charity that places gender equality at the center of everything they do. International Day of the Girl is set aside by the United Nations to recognize the rights of girls and women, as well as the unfair challenges they face globally. Across nearly every country, women earn a fraction of what men do, and trans and non-binary people are disproportionately impacted by poverty and the denial of fundamental rights. Gender-based discrimination fuels food insecurity, safety risks, and exclusion from life-saving services and opportunities. CARE is committed to supporting equality across all of its programs and initiatives, and with your help they can keep fighting to defeat gender-based discrimination.
